Foreign members of the Supervisory Board of Sberbank Nadya Wells and Natalie Braginsky Munier left the Supervisory Board following Esko Aho, follows from the materials of the credit institution.
“It is considered to have left the Supervisory Board from February 24, 2022 on a personal application,” the bank’s materials note in a note to these persons.
Wells, Mounier and Aho held the positions of independent directors on the Supervisory Board of Sberbank.
Earlier today, the former Prime Minister of Finland, Esko Aho, announced that he was leaving the Supervisory Board of Sberbank amid the events in Ukraine. Asko indicated that this decision is related to „the general situation”, as a result of which such action on his part is necessary. He was re-elected to the Supervisory Board in 2020.
